The WISE Young Professionals’ Board (WYPB) is a group of exceptional young individuals aged 18-30 working in STEM at the start of their career. They support WISE members to be successful as they progress in the STEM workforce and navigate through their early careers. You can find out more about the current board on the WISE website.
The Board members are successful young role models in their respective industries, coming from a range of different backgrounds, educational routes, locations, STEM disciplines and genders. Their diversity gives a variety of perspectives and opinions that increases the value of their feedback to WISE, drives change, and extends their influence to further corners of the industry.
The timeline for applications is as follows:
06.09.2021 – Applications Open
29.09.2021 – WYPB Application Webinar
01.11.2021 – Applications Close
08.11.2021 – Candidate Shortlist Compiled
15.11.2021 – 19.11.2021 – Interviews take place for shortlisted candidates
07.12.2021 – Successful applicants notified
They would particularly encourage applications from Northern Ireland. You will need a recent CV, to have read the WYPB Terms of Reference and approval from your employer.
