Pulsar is delighted to be supporting eight female founders on the Shegenerate programme. The programme launched in November and the first cohort of 56 women are now beginning their journey as they start out and take their very early steps into founder life, supported by Awakenhub.
AwakenHub was founded in July 2020 by 4 women from Ireland, North and South, on a mission to level up opportunity, access and connectivity for women founders by removing barriers to investment, scale and success. They hold monthly community events open to any woman founder, want-to-be founder or ally who wish to support them and make relevant content freely available on their website. All the info you need is available via www.awakenhub.com
At a time when just over 2% of investment globally is made in women founded companies and the proportion of female founders has dropped from 11% to 6% in the Irish Tech eco-system from 2019 to 2020, Shegenerate offers the opportunity to change the landscape, remove barriers and create equity for women founders.
All participants will have access to:
- AwakenHub community events
- private online AwakenClub
- 6 x 2.5 hr workshops (every 3-4 weeks) and when possible, twice in one day (morning and evening) to allow for those who are juggling current jobs or family commitments.
We look forward to hearing the progress of our eight Northern Ireland women founders, all of whose business ideas are STEM focussed.
