Have you been inspired or impacted by Covid19 to embark on your female founder journey? SheGenerate is a new pilot from AwakenHub that might be just what you are looking for.
Maybe you have already taken the plunge but following lockdown need some help in getting off the ground. Or do you have a niggling side hustle or idea that desperately wants to come out.
Awakenhub are searching for 35 brilliant women from the four corners of Ireland, North and South, to get involved in the pilot group.
Closing date for submissions is 5pm GMT on Friday 8 October. Final selections will be made by mid-late October and workshops will kick off within a few weeks of that date.
SheGenerate will include:
- 6 x 2hr tailored and interactive workshops (roughly 3-4 weeks apart)
- Access to AwakenHub’s private female founder Slack group as a safe place to interact with and learn from each other as well as a broader community of women founders and Big Sisters (hand picked company builders, innovators, investors and entrepreneurs) offering informal advice & guidance (through to June 2022)
- Free attendance to AwakenHub regular community events (through to June 2022)
- Advice and signposting for next steps
The criteria are pretty straight forward. Any very early stage woman founder / prospective founder on the Island of Ireland is welcome to apply. If you are a member of the Irish diaspora and want to move back home (soon) then you can apply too.
Whethere you are on the cusp of founder life, have an idea niggling away at you, want to be your own boss and just need a little bit of support to help you take the plunge, Shegenerate could work for you. But you should be serious about starting a new business and hope to get trading within 12 months.
Your business can be in any background or sector. Social enterprises are definitely included in the mix.If you are unsure take a few minutes and apply anyway as you never know – you could be exactly what Awakenhub are looking for.
